New music on the horizon from British singer/songwriter Anna Calvi. Strange Weather, a 5-track cover album is set to drop this July. Check below for track listing and further details.

You’ll pardon us if we’re excited. Calvi is sensational. She’s a recent newcomer, having only hit the scene in her mid-20’s, but she makes a hell of her first impression. Her guitar chops and breathy voice have won her more than her fair share of rave reviews. Two albums in, and she’s a Mercury Prize nominee, and shows no signs of slowing down.
Ready for Strange Weather? Calvi’s been anything but idle recently, pumping out two music videos, as well as fantastic cover of Springsteen’s “Fire”. That said, we’re glad she found time for this latest project. The EP will contain covers of songs from Suicide, David Bowie, FKA twigs, and Connan Mockasin. Plus a collaboration with David Byrne on the title track. A cover of “Papi Pacify” from FKA Twigs came with the announcement. That, and the track list below.
