Lily Allen has recently announced her first North American tour in five years. She will be touring to support her Sheezus album, which was released on May 6th.
Allen will be on tour from September 9th until October 10th. In addition to her tour, Allen has a busy schedule ahead of her. On May 14th she will appear on The Today Show, May 15th she will appear on Jimmy Fallon, and on May 26th she will appear on Live with Kelly and Michael. Later this summer she also plans to tape an episode of PBS The Artist’s Den.
Allen’s Sheezus album has received lots of positive reviews from the media. The album peaked at number one on iTunes in six countries. Q magazine has referred to the album as a blend of, “punchy feminist statements, wistful party jams, NSFW love letters to her husband, two-finger salutes to her critics, and moments of startling vulnerability.”
Tickets for the tour go on-sale May 16th, with the exception of Los Angeles which is on-sale May 15th at 4:00 PM. More information about Lily Allen can be found here. Below is a list of her current tour dates.
