In March, mxdwn reported the announcement of The Black Keys upcoming album Turn Blue, and as expected, today the band announced the dates for their upcoming tour.
The tour that starts in Alabama next weekend at the Hangout Music Festival, expands to Europe for a month, then across the United States and Canada through December, is the follow up to their highly successful 2012 El Camino Tour, which was their first headlining arena tour. To spice up the show’s lineup, the Keys have enlisted St. Vincent, Cage the Elephants, and Jake Bugg as opening acts for different legs of the tour.
The Black Keys have already dropped two singles off the upcoming album, “Fever,” which was released in March and the title track, “Turn Blue,” which was released in April.
