WATCH: Garbage Releases New Video for “Girls Talk” Featuring Brody Dalle

Two of the fiercest in female vocalists, Shirley Manson and Brody Dalle, have teamed up for “Girls Talk,” one of two new tracks from Garbage. The band had released a single for Record Store Day that featured both of the new songs, and now “Girls Talk” has a video to go along with it.

Garbage worked with Screaming Females to cover Patti Smith’s “Because the Night” for last year’s Record Store Day. For the 2014 celebration, Manson turned to Dalle, who she recently worked with on “Meet the Foetus / Oh The Joy,” off Dalle’s newest album, Diploid Love.

Dalle is currently touring hard for that album, it being her first solo work away from former bands The Distillers and Spinnerette. The punk singer just finished set as one of Coachella’s Sideshow Acts and will soon be playing Sasquatch!, as will her husband Josh Homme, with Queens of the Stone Age.

For now, we have the raw and powerful “Girls Talk,” which showcases the ladies’ vocals at their most distinct. Pay attention toward the middle of the following to catch a smooch between the singers, and stay through to the end to watch the duo’s nearly euphoric reaction to the song they’ve just sung.
