First City Festival Announces 2014 Lineup Including Beck, The National and The Naked and Famous

First City Festival is helping celebrate their second year this August by bringing such musicians as Beck, Unknown Mortal Orchestra and The National to the stage. Set in Monterey, Calif., the two-day festival will also include a full carnival, vaudeville stage and all the local foods and wines a concert-goer can handle.

The First City Fest looks to rival their inaugural installment from 2013, which featured such big names as Modest Mouse, Toro y Moi and MGMT. At this year’s session, held August 23-24 at the Monterey County Fair and Event Center, bands will be performing across three separate stages while dancers, fire eaters, contortionists saunter through the crowds. The traveling Beat Swap Meet will also be setting up their vinyl record marketplace, offering selections from all over California.
