Celebrate Brooklyn! Announces 2014 Lineup Including St. Vincent, Dum Dum Girls and Nickel Creek

Celebrate Brooklyn! is back, and as usual for the festival, the lineup is stocked with both big names and smaller acts. This year, Janelle Monae will open the festival, with St. Vincent and San Fermin closing things out on the festival’s final day, and many of the shows in between are free of charge.

Previous years have seen acts like Sufjan Stevens, The Decemberists, Cut Copy, Dirty Projectors, Purity Ring, Belle and Sebastian, and Beck grace the festival’s stage, and this year’s lineup is set to be a worthy rival for past Celebrate Brooklyn!’s. Warpaint, Deltron 3030, and Amos Lee are all artists you can see during the Celebrate Brooklyn! festivities, without having to pay a dime. The ticketed gigs include The National, Jack Johnson, Devendra Banhart, and Neutral Milk Hotel, to name just a few.

In addition to all of the live music, the festival will also have multiple “Music and Movies” nights, so you’ll be able to catch a flick if you overload on the musical performances. Check out the schedule below, with the ticketed shows indicated by PAID, and all the free ones by FREE.
