Bloodshot Artist Wayne Hancock Cancels Tour Dates After Serious Motorcycle Accident

Country music artist Wayne Hancock was involved a motorcycle accident this past weekend. Until further notice, all of Hancock’s tour dates and other appearances have been postponed pending his recovery.

As told in a press release by his label, Bloodshot, Hancock suffered multiple injuries, including a collapsed lung, broken ribs, and a fractured elbow, according to a recent article.

Hancock has managed to stay under the mainstream radar for quite some time, despite a dedicated audience and a knack for synthesizing multiple elements of American music, from country, to jazz, and the blues into his own unique sound. If you haven’t gotten the chance, check out the MXDWN review of Hancock’s Viper of Melody, written by Laura Goldberg, to get an idea of what kind of artist Hancock is.

While Hancock is off the road due to his injuries, you can donate to a Paypal fund that has been set up in his name to cover the cost of his not being able to play shows and make appearances. If you would like to donate to the fund, you can inquire at waynehancockfund@gmail.com.
