Three piece band ††† (Crosses) have announced their spring 2014 dates!

Described as “witch house,” ††† is the side project of Chino Moreno of the Deftones, coupled with guitarist Shaun Lopez of Far, as well as Chuck Doom. It is a change of direction from Deftones more aggressive material, as Moreno describes it, their work is “minimal and soothing and it’s sort of like the stuff I like listening to when I’m not screaming my head off.” The Los Angeles trio have self released two EP’s since their formation in 2011, creatively titled EP 1 and EP 2. This year, they released their first full-length record, ††† (Crosses) on Sumerian Records, which mixed remixes of EP 1 and EP2 as well as five new songs.
After an amazing set at the first weekend of Coachella Music and Arts Festival in Indio, CA, the group announced a May tour, and tickets went on sale yesterday, April 15th. The tour is a continuation of sorts of their March dates which took them to SXSW and other sold-out venues. During the May tour, the group will be stopping at St. Louis Pointfest to share the bill with Queens of the Stoneage and others,as well as a date at the New Music Revolution in Charlotte, NC.
