WATCH: Gwen Stefani Joins Pharrell Onstage At Coachella for “Hollaback Girl”

Although he may have made a name for himself in the mid-90’s as part of the multi-platinum hitmakers the Neptunes, founder of the label Star Trak Entertainment, member of the band N.E.R.D., creator of the clothing line Billionaire Boys Club, and producer of number one hits for artists ranging from Britney Spears to Ol’ Dirty Bastard, Pharrell Williams is back and taking over the music scene once again. As if killing the Grammys this year with fellow “Lucky” comrades Daft Punk, and livening up the Oscars with his smash hit “Happy” wasn’t enough, Pharrell and his star-studded band of merry men, and women, gave the fans at the Coachella Festival a show they’d never forget.

Bringing to the stage many of his famous friends for never before seen collabs, he kicked it off with: Nelly for “Hot In Herre,” Snoop Dogg for “Drop It Like IT’s Hott,” Busta Rhymes and Puff Daddy for “Pass the Courvousier Pt. 2,” and the show stopping, Gwen Stefani – who Pharrell referred to as “Queen,” – for “Hollaback Girl.”

Giving multiple shot outs to artists in the audience such as Lorde and Beyonce, who later performed with Beyonce’s sister Solange, and Tyler, the Creator who could be seen dancing in the mosh pit, Pharrell was later joined on stage by Diplo. None the less, the artist who began his solo career with 2003’s “Frontin’” featuring Jay Z, and was named 2013’s Hitmaker of the Year, still has what it takes to take over the charts and rock a crowd.
