One of the biggest names in rock music is locked and loaded for a Summer tour. Aerosmith has announced dates for the “Let Rock Rule” tour, a coast-to-coast campaign with a special supporting act.
Slash. Yes, seriously – Slash is the supporting act. Slash, Myles Kennedy and the Conspirators to be more specific. One hell of an opening act. It’s also apparently just the next step in an Aerosmith/Slash combine that most of us didn’t know existed. Whatever, we’re not complaining.
Anyway, the Let Rock Rule tour is impending. We first heard about it just a couple of days ago at the Whiskey Go Go, during an uncharacteristically intimate set from the iconic rockers. Anyone hanging around Los Angeles or Austin the past few days might have gotten an even earlier hint of things to come. Aerosmith members teamed up with grafitti artists to spread the word with an illicit (but likely still cleared with local authorities) tagging spree. Dates and ticket link below.
