The band just formed, but they’re already hugely successful. The Red Hot Chili Pepper’s Michael Peter Balzary (Flea) and Dave Elitch teamed up with Omar Rodriguez Lopez and Cedric Bixler-Zavala of The Mars Volta to form the rock supergroup Antemasque. We wrote about Antemasque yesterday. Though the band is new, the quality and sound is not. Antemasque is bringing together the jazzy-rock music the Mars Volta and the funk-rock quality of the Red Hot Chili Peppers to form the charged, rock music in Antemasque.
