Chaos in Tejas is promising some great metal bands like Nothing, Floor and Impalers. The festival was up in the air earlier this year, but it’s still happening. It will be a smaller, less hyped up festival, but will bring great stuff to the stage nonetheless. Check out Chaos in Tejas’ lineup after the jump.
Last year’s Chaos in Tejas was huge. Tons of great bands showed up at the huge venue last year and the festival was the biggest in their history. The festival organizer, Timmy Hefner has decided he can’t get any better than last year’s event, so he’s settling with a small celebration. He will hopefully be able to top 2013’s incredible festival in future years, but this year simply won’t be that year. Timmy Hefner explains his reasoning below.
i always said if i couldn’t top the year before then i shouldn’t bother and i’m not sure i can top last year at this point. it’s been an amazing 9 years and thank you all for everything to make so many dreams come true year after year. we will still be doing shows and like i said maybe a smaller fest or something? lots of records coming out on the label and always stuff our sleeves so we aren’t going anywhere but chaos in tejas as you know it won’t be it’s normal weekend in 2014.
Despite the smaller size, the show will still be amazing for the metal heads out there. Chaos will take place on from May 29 – June 1st at multiple venues in Austin, Texas. Check out the lineup below and get your tickets!
