tUnE-yArDs Release New Track “Wait For a Minute”

tUnE-yArDs have dropped a single from their upcoming album, Nikki Nak.

tUnE-yArDs is the project of New Englander Merrill Garbus, who enlisted the help of Malay to coproduce Nikki Nak and the single, “Wait For a Minute.” Malay is famous for his work with artists like Alicia Keys, Frank Ocean, and John Legend, and worked fabulously to showcase Merrill’s vocal in “Wait for a Minute.” The vibe remains indie-synth-pop, but it’s more than that; slowed down, her voice wanders to us as the song covers the darkness of addiction. The album is available for preorder on iTunes and Amazon, and if this is any indication of Malay and Garbus’ work together, we are very excited to hear it.

Fans can catch tUnE-yArDs on their tour this spring, which they kick off in Denver, and continue on some sold-out Arcade Fire dates. Check out the full dates below!
