Lollapalooza Announces 2014 Lineup Including OutKast, Kings of Leon and Arctic Monkeys

Lollapalooza is coming. This August, Chicago will be hosting thousands of lucky festival-goers for music, crafts, comedy and maybe some politics. Tickets went on sale yesterday and they’re almost all sold out. Check out the lineup and you’ll see that it’ll be worth scouring Craigslist or buying one of the few platinum passes that are still available.

We’ve been updating you on the lineup news for a while, and now the whole list is out and, man, is it looking pretty amazing. Eminem and Kings of Leon are returning as headliners, while the Arctic Monkeys will headline for the first time at Lollapalooza. Some of the most exciting and popular acts there will include Lorde, Skrillex, Iggy Azalea and Outkast. Outkast will be touring for the first time in a dime and everyone knows that they are a big deal. Check out the full list below. It’s going to be amazing.

Lollapalooza was first created in 1991, but wasn’t tamed into the magnificent beast it is today until 2005, where the people behind the festival teamed up with some big names. Now the monster is bigger than ever and this year it will travel from North America to Brazil, Chile and Argentina. The festival has helped people discover bands like Nine Inch Nails, Arcade Fire, Pearl Jam and the Red Hot Chile Peppers. It’s an incredible atmosphere to experience new music as well as old. This isn’t just another festival, it’s a big one. The festival is one of the most talked about events in the U.S. every year. As stated earlier, the tickets were only put up yesterday and they’re already sold out, except for a few platinum passes. It’s time to succumb to scalpers and Craigslist, guys. It’s worth it.
