Wolf Gang is a British alternative and symphonic rock band. Their debut album, Suego Faults, was released in 2011 on Atlantic Records. Suego Faults was recorded by the lead singer Max McElligott. He co-produced the album with the legendary Dave Fridmann (MGMT, The Flaming Lips, Clap Your Hands Say Yeah). Nearly all the parts and instruments were played by McElligott. The album received praise from The Guardian, Spin Magazine, The Fader & Pitchfork.

McElligott can play a wide range of instruments, including piano (his first instrument), guitar, bass, drums, keyboards, trumpet, glockenspiel, etc. In 2013, Wolf Gang signed a worldwide record deal with American label Cherrytree Records, and are currently writing and recording their second album which will be released later in the year.

Wolf Gang’s website states “[The band’s] sound packs in an abundance of suave panache, ear-thwacking beats and heart-throttling melodies. Max McElligott and his crack combo have quickly cultivated a dedicated and avid fan base through two years of nearly non-stop live performances….” Wolf Gang has been the supporting act for Coldplay, Florence + The Machine, The Killers, The Naked And Famous, and have also played countless festival appearances.
