Husband-wife duo Haunted Hearts have a new album ready to drop this May 27th on Zoo Music.
Haunted Hearts is the collaboration of Dee Dee Penny (of Dum Dum Girls) and Brandon Welchez (of Crocodiles), and their sweet lovechild of an album should be everything great about the two.They have also released video for the single “Johnny Jupiter”, a video directed by Scott Kiernan. While they will be releasing it on their own label, Zoo Music, a cassette will also be released on May 27th on Dream Records. Initiation was written in New York in the couple’s apartment in 2012, recorded in San Diego, mixed in Brooklyn and mastered in NYC. The last we heard from Haunted Hearts was the release of their single “Something That Feels Bad Is Something That Feels Good/House of Lords” in Feb. 2013, catching everyone off guard with their NSFW album art. Brace yourselves.
