Experimental rockers Swans have announced a run of tour dates this summer, in support of their upcoming release To Be Kind.
Based out of New York, Swans have been churning out music together, off and on, since 1982. To Be Kind, due out May 13th, will be the group’s 13th studio album, and this time around they’ve enlisted the musical help of such artists as St. Vincent and Cold Specks. Swans also released the 2-disc live album Not Here / Not Now last fall to help raise funds for the recording of this newest album.
To help prep fans for the forthcoming release, Swans has let loose “A Little God In My Hands,” a dark carnival ride of a teaser track. Hear the new single below:
The beginning of the tour trek Swans is set to embark upon is heavy with European dates up front, but they’re set to return to North America in June:
