Trippy texans The Black Angels are back with a new track for us, “Diamond Eyes”.
Rising to fame through their myspace (remember those?) and their first compilation, Psychadelia Vol. 1. Since their release in April 2013 of their fourth album, Indigo Meadow, fans have been eagerly awaiting the follow up EP. Due for April 19th, which is Record Store Day, Clear Lake Forest will feature 7 brand new songs on 7 inches of clear vinyl bliss.
“Diamond Eyes” is another excellent explosion of blues and psychedelic rock from the five-piece, with guitarist’s reverb-soaked dreaminess carrying frontman Alex Maas’ tremulous vocals. Bluesy riffs in the background punch through this all around rockin’ trip.
