We know, we know, Miley Cyrus isn’t normal fare for this site. But quiet down for a second, look at who she’s recording with, and ask yourself this. Can you legitimately say that you’re not at least a little curious about how this is going to sound?
One twerks in concert, the other crowd surfs in an enormous hamster ball – it’s actually sort of a weird meeting of the minds in that regard. In any event, Cyrus and The Lips have joined forces. Coyne recently announced the union over Instagram, confirming that the collaboration had made it into the studio. Granted, there wasn’t too much music making going on in the picture (joints were being rolled).
Odd as it is, this isn’t exactly unexpected. Coyne and Cyrus played a joint show in Los Angeles. Check the video below for a very credible duet version of “Yoshimi Battles the Pink Robots” and a bit of stage banter between the two. No word on what we can expect from this new move to the studio, or when we can expect it but…
