Damon Albarn Joined by Del the Funky Homosapien, Dan the Automator and Snoop Dogg for the First Time Ever on “Clint Eastwood” at SXSW

History was made tonight much to the amazement of the fans attending day three of SXSW’s Fader Fort in Austin, Texas. Two massive surprises happened during the headliner, Damon Albarn of Blur and Gorillaz set.

First while performing Gorillaz’s “Feel Good Inc.” Albarn was accompanied by none other than hip hop legends De La Soul, killing it on other Gorillaz songs and The Good, The Bad and the Queen’s songs “Kingdom of Doom”. Later, fellow Gorillaz collaborator Del the Funky Homosapien and Dan the Automator joined him for the first time ever live to do “Clint Eastwood” from the Gorillaz first album. And if that wasn’t enough, Snoop Dogg also joined them to do a verse on a song.

This year’s Fader Fort presented by Converse is from March 12 to March 15 and features such artists as Bipolar Sunshine, London Grammar, Temples, Little Dragon, Sam Smith, Theophilus London and Chromeo.
