Third Man Records Announces SXSW 2014 Day Parties at The Museum of Human Achievement

While not as jaw dropping as their previous SXSW showcase was, Third Man Records has returned to the Austin stomping ground bringing slew of Third Man friendly acts and a few of their usual tricks. This year, Third Man Records–branding themselves WMTR–invade The Museum of Human Achievement for three days of performances. And yes, product enthusiasts, the infamous Third Man Rolling Record Store will make an appearance (though right now the site is TBD on the time and any other locations). The site for the event also promises that all performances and DJ sets will be live-streamed there.

Thursday March 13th – Saturday March 15th, 2 p.m. @ The Museum of Human Achievement – 3600 Lyons Road Austin, TX

And that’s not all, the site also indicates that they will be selling a special decode ring at the pop-up shop on site. There will be 3 clues broadcast each day, all leading to a numerical answer, which then in turn will lead a word or phrase by Saturday evening. The first five participants that submit the correct answer to decoder@thirdmanrecords.com will win a special prize.
