WATCH: The Horrors Perform “I See You”

The Horrors, a talented British band, will be releasing their fourth album on May 6. In releasing the single “I See You”, the Horrors provide a positive first glimpse into Luminous.

The Horror’s last album, Skying, contained a mixture of sounds that deservedly earned several spots on the “best-of” lists. “I See You” aired on Zane Lowe’s BBC Radio as well as on KRCW’s “Morning Becomes Eclectic” on the 24 of February. The single is a mix of new age beats and late 1970’s psychoactive sounds. Through the seven and a half minute long track, the Horrors have more than enough time to woo the listener. With the instrumental upsurge in the final few minutes and utopian lyrics, this song is a very new sound for the band. Is it a sound that will resonate in the rest of the upcoming album? Let’s hope so.
