Nine Inch Nails’ singer, songwriter and founder Trent Reznor recently featured two songs from How to Destroy Angels’ repertoire at his Nine Inch Nails concert in Japan. Reznor isn’t just a fan of How to Destroy Angels, it’s his own band!

The lesser-known band consists of Trent Reznor, Reznor’s wife Mariqueen Maandig, and Rob Sheridan. Mariqueen is a sultry vocalist who brings life to the lightly industrial, chill, electronic music. How to Destroy Angels is more than just an auditory experience. The show on stage are often strikingly visual, taking focus off of the performers and aiding in the total consumption of the musical experience.
The band released their first EP, How to Destroy Angels, in 2010 and their newest album was released last year, called Welcome Oblivion. How to Destroy Angels is actually pretty amazing.
