How fitting for the man who created the music for the film O Brother, Where Art Thou? to perform at a Moonshine Distillery. This will be the first ever appearance by the Soggy Bottom Boys and the show sounds like too much fun to pass up. Find out the details below.
The Soggy Bottom Boys started out as the fictional band from O Brother, Where Art Thou?, but they’ve ditched George Clooney’s face and now those sweet voices and strings will be heard in person for a first-time-ever live performance at the Ole Smoky Tennessee Moonshine Distillery.
The band consists of Barry Bales, Ron Block, Stuart Duncan and Mike Compton on strings and the legendary Dan Tyminski, the voice from Avicci’s “Hey Brother” as well as the music writer and singer for the soundtrack of O Brother, Where Art Thou?. Tyminski is a 14-time Grammy winner and renowned bluegrass vocalist. He’s joined forces with some of the best string players, listed above, to create the undeniably awesome bluegrass band, Soggy Bottom Boys. The band has never made a public appearance, but with Tyminski’s reputation, the show promises to be utterly incredible.
