Arctic Monkeys Announce Summer 2014 Tour Dates

The Arctic Monkeys are touring worldwide this summer, hitting hubs in New Zealand, the UK, the US and Japan, among others. They will be promoting their new album AM and helping you rock out with songs like “Do I Wanna Know” and “Why’d You Only Call Me When You’re High?”

Earlier this year, the Arctic Monkey’s topped the charts for the Billboard’s Alternative Songs list. Their worldwide recognition has been long time coming. Their first big single “I Bet You Look Good on the Dancefloor” got some radio waves but they haven’t been on the top of the world until now. This year they are playing at the Roskilde Festival in Denmark from June 29th to July 6th and the Rock En Stein Festival in Paris from August 23rd to August 25th, as well as playing their own tour from May 2nd to August 17th.

The band formed in 2002 in Sheffield, England and has a sunken, indie sound and lyrics you can sing along to. They released a series of snarky EPs including one called “Who the Fuck are the Arctic Monkey?” and eventually found success with Domino Records. The group has since won seven Brit awards and has been nominated twice for a Grammy award. Don’t miss their upcoming tour! Check out the dates below.
