Entitled “Thorn or a Rose” it is a smooth tribute that any listener will appreciate at the end of the day when it is time to wind down or perhaps even during intimate moments with that special someone.
The comparison to Nathaniel Merriweather’s Lovage, another Patton project is uncanny. This album, “Songs to make love to your lady by” provides a similar grove and “Thorn or a Rose” would work beautifully in the musical sense as the comparison ends there.
