Tickets go on sale this Friday, February 7th for the next run of road shows Mastodon will be undertaking, this time with the help of French metal group Gojira and Norwegian metal six-piece Kvelertak.
Mastodon has been working in Nashville on a follow-up to 2011’s The Hunter, and have announced that details of their upcoming sixth album will be released soon.
The heavy metal foursome was busy on the road in 2013, playing such events as Montreal’s Heavy MTL Festival and Italy’s installment of Sonisphere. Mastodon will be returning to Europe for string of Sonisphere sets after they wrap up their North American tour this spring, including those at Knebworth, Norway and Finland.
Until Mastodon makes its way to your neck of the woods this year, be sure to check out the greatest hits DVD they released back in December, which features their epic set at Brixton in 2012.
