After Blur, Gorillaz, The Good, the Bad, & the Queen, and many more acts, the number one workaholic musician alive Damon Albarn released two songs from his upcoming solo album Everyday Robots.
Damon Albarn has been talking about his upcoming solo album since last year, but it took him year to release the first two songs. Heralded by a teaser video, the music video for “Everyday Robots” was released recently. “Lonely Press Play” was debuted at Sundance Film Festival. Both tracks will be featured on his solo album Everyday Robots.
Last year, With a supergroup Fresh Touch, Damon Albarn released a charity single “Latest Style” with Flea, Tony Allen, Nick Zinner, and Alex Kapranos. He also streamed an unheard Gorillaz song “Whirlwind”. His African Express Project heavily influenced the new track “3D on Jupiter” of Robert Del Naja from Massive Attack. Damon Albarn will appear in this year’s Big Day Out Festive and Latitude.
