Julian Casablancas has added several new dates to his upcoming Spring campaign. A March show in Santiago marks the first step he’ll be taking into South America. It’s a dense schedule, but we just can’t make ourselves feel sorry for the guy – something tells us he’s not all that upset about a whirlwind tropical tour.

We’ve mentioned some of Casablancas’ tour dates before. For those just now checking this out, we’ll catch you up: Casablancas does seem to be striking out on his own, the upcoming tour precedes a possible album tentatively named Voidz. We say tentatively because the website he’s posting tour dates on doesn’t have much apart from the word “Voidz” in eyeball-mashing, flashing font.
While many of Casablancas’ dates do take him through warmer climes, he’s also headed to New York to play at the 2014 Governor’s Ball. There, he’ll not only be performing solo, but also reuniting with the Strokes – you know, that band he used to sing for.
