It has been 7 years since the last time The Knife played in the US, but finally they are coming back for Shaking the Habitual North American Tour, starting at Coachella.
The Swedish electronic duo has not performed in America since Silent Shout tour in 2006. They have been working on their next album Shaking the Habitual that came out last August. The new album includes “A Tooth for An Eye”, “A Cherry On Top”, and “Raging Lung“.
The Knife started touring for new album in Europe, where they promised to break normalcy by featuring bizarre opening like “absurdist aerobics” and “danceoke”. The Knife announced that the upcoming American tour will be a “continuation”. They stated: “Some songs are the same, some songs are new. Moves are added and changed. Some instruments are electrified and more voices are heard. Things glow and along the way we have elevated ourselves.”
The tour will start at Coachella April 11, and end in New York City on April 30.
