Yet another absolutely massive Spring festival announcement for you guys. Georgia’s own Counterpoint Music Festival has released their 2014 lineup. Full listing below, ticket links below that – you’ll probably want to hit both.
It’s a big year for Counterpoint. The fest has an all-new location, all-new stages, all-new food and so on and so forth. It does not, however, have all-new bands – thank goodness. No, it’s a little more tried-and-true, and we wouldn’t have it any other way.
OutKast is scheduled to stop by during their massive Spring campaign. Pretty Lights, fresh off a Grammy nomination for his last album A Color Map of the Sun will be playing, and if you can stand to listen to “Pumped up Kicks” again, you can also give a listen to indie superstars Foster the People. Some interesting electronica is also in evidence. Spaz-dancehall outfit Major Lazer will be there. Psychonautic adventurers Shpongle is also in town, expect the audience at that show to be completely sober. Or talking to rocks, whichever.
