Queen’s Brian May Finds Unreleased Track Featuring Freddie Mercury

It’s all coming up roses for Queen. On one front, we’d like to go ahead and congratulate Brian May for beating cancer. On another front my god they found an unreleased track with all four original members. Exciting times.

There’s apparently a decent amount of unreleased Queen material floating around. This last year we were treated to rumors of an album in the works featuring duets between Mercury and Michael Jackson. And now comes this newest find. Brian May remained fairly coy about what it was he’d dug up, but he dropped enough hints to leave us drooling for more. Recorded over 30 years ago, it’s a candid recording featuring new material, banter, and discussion. Even better, it features the original members of the band – the incomparable Freddie Mercury, Brian May, John Deacon, and roger Taylor. So, keep your fingers crossed, and with any luck we’ll get some further updates on this soon.

May also recently shared some good news on a more personal level. The guitarist dropped some alarming news in December when he revealed that he was going in for cancer screening tests. Scary, but a recent biopsy put him in the clear.
