Filter’s Richard Patrick to Appear Onstage with The Crystal Method at the El Rey Theatre in LA

Richard Patrick, lead vocalist for Filter, will perform with The Crystal Method at the El Rey Theater in Los Angeles on Thursday, January 16.

The two artists collaborated on the track “(Can’t You) Trip Like I Do,” for the Spawn soundtrack in 1997. They will presumably play that song on Thursday night, and if so, it will be the first time they ever play it live together. Doors open at 8 for the show and you can get tickets here.

More recently, The Crystal Method collaborated with Dia Frampton of The Voice on the track “Over It.” In 2012, the band appeared at the EDM for Sandy Relief Benefit Concert put on by Brooklyn Fire Records.
