Guns N’ Roses have a solution to them polar vortex blues. With any luck, the US should be thawing nicely by the time Axl and company hit the road, but hey, nothing wrong with making sure. Check below for a list of recently released South American tour dates.
So this isn’t exactly your daddy’s GnR. It’s probably not even yours, to be honest; whatever, it’s still GnR. At the helm of the current incarnation is renowned British R&B artist Seal.
We’re kidding, it’s Axl Rose.
Behind him are “DJ Ashba (guitar), Dizzy Reed (keyboards), Tommy Stinson (bass), Richard Fortus (guitar), Ron “Bumblefoot” Thal (guitar), Chris Pitman (keyboards) and Frank Ferrer (drums)”. A full crew, and a very legitimate one. Dizzy Reed is the only non-Axl member left from the Use Your Illusion days, but it’s hard not to be impressed by an outfit containing artists like Thal and Fortus.
The Hell and Heaven tour is set to take GnR on a long tour through Brazil, bookended by performances in Mexico, Argentina, and Paraguay. The title will likely be only a slight exaggeration of what’s sure to be a wild ride. Hopefully Axl won’t knock anyone’s teeth out this time around. Tour dates below.
