Hot off The Melvins November release of Tres Cabrones, frontman Buzz “King Buzzo” Osborne has announced he’ll be doing a run of solo acoustic sets on the road this spring, and will be offering fans a new 10′ vinyl at the shows.
This news came via Amphetamine Reptile Record’s Facebook page yesterday, where they also provided a look at the tour poster, created by punk artist Thomas Hazelmyer:
In considering the frenetic pacing of the Melvins’ album releases – the experimental rock group has delivered 21 studio albums in 26 years, including another release from 2013, Everybody Loves Sausages – Osborne’s announcement should come as little surprise to his fans.
2/4 UPDATE: Dates have been announced for Osbourne’s upcoming tour, and all tickets for March dates go on sale this Friday, Feb. 7, while tickets for the Scion AV Rock Show will be available Feb. 5, via www.scionav.com/rockshow.
Osbourne had this to say about the pending shows:
I’m looking forward to taking this show on the road! Solo acoustic is something I’d never thought I’d be doing. Maybe that’s why this will work!
