Qui are back! It’s been nearly 5 years, but better late than never (especially with a new album in tow).
The LA-based noise punk outfit is returning with a new album Life, Water, Living… which is due February 25 via Cobraside Distribution. Guitarist/vocalist Matt Cronk was deployed to Iraq during which time he was seriously injured by a roadside bomb, receiving the Purple Heart and an honorable discharge from the Army in 2011. In the time following, he and Paul Christensen have been hard at work on new material. Jesus Lizard vocalist David Yow was unable to participate due to scheduling difficulties but future collaborations are looking very likely.
