Flaming Lips are cooking up yet another fantastical show for their fans on New Year’s Eve, this time with covers of legendary greats at Aspen’s Belly Up.
The Lips have had an exceptionally busy year, including their collaboration with many others for their cover album of The Stone Roses, as well as their track contribution to the soundtrack for Ender’s Game.
To wrap up 2013, the psychedelic bunch will be playing Belly Up tonight and tomorrow night, and have been rehearsing to play such hits of The Beatles as “Everybody’s Got Something To Hide Except for Me and My Monkey” and “Dear Prudence.”
