Ho Ho Ho from chk chk chk. Or !!!, but that gets a little confusing. The punk-dance group has released their take on holiday cheer – a surprisingly slinky and unsurprisingly danceable little number called “And Anyway It’s Christmas”.
What says Christmas better than flaming Yuletide logs and cool Yuletide beats? Nothing. Absolutely nothing. !!! made their name with some incredibly infectious, retro-dance offerings, and they’ve brought that aesthetic to Christmas. Frontman Nic Offer had this to say:
“We’ve always wanted to write an Xmas song, but wanted it to be good enough and not just something like “it’s a disco christmas” or whatever. It had to be a good song to start with. We came up with this groove and it just felt Christmassy to us. Hopefully, you’ll see fit to play at holiday dance parties for years to come. Happy holidays to everyone who came out to our shows this year and made 2013 one of our most fun yet. Oh, and make sure you check the dub mix for personal holiday greetings from each band member. “
