WATCH: Red Fang Release New Music Video for “Blood Like Cream”

Heavy metal band Red Fang has released the music video for their track “Blood Like Cream,” which features a lot of beer and even more zombies.

The video starts off with Fred Armisen of Saturday Night Live and Portlandia hurriedly entering the bar in which Red Fang is drinking. He warns them of zombies, but these aren’t just any brain-eating zombies – they’re zombies that want to drink all of the beer. When the band learns of the zombies’ intentions, they start drinking as much beer as possible.

The song, which is off of the Portland-based group’s third EP, Whales and Leeches, is perfect fit for all of the video’s action. Frontman Aaron Beam told Rolling Stone, “This song is about the stress of balancing a touring lifestyle with having a family back home, but who wants to see a video about that? Boring! Instead, we have a video featuring lots of blood, beer, and exercise – some of us did more running in this video that we’ve done the whole year to date!”

Red Fang just wrapped up a North American tour with The Shrine, which will head to Europe in the spring. Just before heading on tour, they performed at Mastodon’s homecoming show in Atlanta, Georgia. The band also kept busy even before Whales and Leeches dropped in October, including taking part in the Southwest Terror Fest in Tucson, Arizona.
