Priscilla Ahn leads her upcoming album with an awesome new single that intrigues, excites and satisfies. She’s also thrown in a “Deck The Halls” cover for all those wanting a re-vision of the holiday standard.
Having just recently announced her new album, This Is Where We Are, scheduled for release in February, Ahn has granted a little preview of things to come with “Diana”. Now, she did warn that she was in a state of artistic renewal, but this latest track still moderately shocks listeners with the addition of electronic sampling and beats. These changes are surprising in the best possible way, however, as Ahn attacks some very familiar themes from a very different, and refreshing, angle.
As promised, a little taste of the holidays. Priscilla’s cover of “Deck The Halls” is very much worth a listen as well.
