LA-based indie rockers Warpaint have announced a handful of tour dates for the spring, in support of their upcoming self-titled sophomore album.
Warpaint are featured on the Duran Duran cover album due out in February, but will release their newest, follow-up to 2010 debut The Fool, on January 21st. The band, formed by Emily Kokal, Theresa Wayman and Jenny Lee Lindberg in 2004, brought drummer Stella Mozgawa, who left the group prior to the recording of The Fool, back into the fold for the new material. The foursome got their start working on it in Joshua Tree in 2012, and finished most of the rest back in LA. All of Warpaint, save two tracks by Radiohead producer Nigel Godrich, was then mixed by British post-punk producer Flood.
