The Black Angels are hitting the road soon and will be bringing Roky Erickson along for the ride.
Austin-based psychedelic outfit The Black Angels will be touring in support of their latest release, Indigo Meadow. Most of the dates scheduled will feature psychedelia elder statesman Roky Erickson, a fellow Austin native noted for his work with The 13th Floor Elevators. This won’t be the first time for Roky and The Black Angels to share a stage, the group has previously performed as a backing band for Erickson, so the combination should be pretty congruous. This tour is guaranteed to be an excellent showing of psychedelic rock, both contemporary and classic.
