Tinariwen Announce New Album Emmaar For February 2014 Release

Tinariwen, a group of traveling musicians founded in 1979 and based in the Sahara region of Northern Mali, continue to beautifully merge their desert experience with music that appeals to people all over the world. True to their name, which translates as “deserts,” Tinariwen chose Joshua Tree National Park for the recording of their upcoming new album, Emmaar.
