WATCH: Pixies Release New Video For “What Goes Boom”

Pixies have released a new music video for the track “What Goes Boom” from their post-Kim Deal album EP-1.

The track is appropriately named, as it is loud and in-your-face. The video is equally fitting for the song title, as it does feature an explosion, the titular “What Goes Boom.” The star of the music video is Pixies guitarist Joey Santiago. You can watch it for yourself right here.

After Deal left the Pixies, they erased and re-recorded all bass parts for their new material, though the band says that they would accept her return to Pixies if she chose to play with them again. The group will be on tour in North America during the beginning of 2014 and are also scheduled to perform at both Lollapalooza Chile in March and Lollapalooza Argentina in April.
