Marissa Nadler Shares New Track “Dead City Emily” and Announces New Album July For February Release

Today’s queen of folk (for lack of a better word) is back with a new album and single for our listening pleasure.

Marissa Nadler’s new album, July, is scheduled for a February 4 release date (not sure if that’s late or early), her first album since 2012’s The Sister. For now, we can feast our ears on the mezzo-soprano’s dreamy (in the Poe/Lovecraft sense) vocals, immaculately crafted lyrics and hypnotic guitar accompaniment in her new song “Dead City Emily”.
