Just when you thought that substituting z’s for s’s wasn’t cool anymore. Julian Casablancas is doing it again, after 2009’s Phrazes for the Young, Casablancas’ website has recently undergone a psychadelic redesign announcing something called “Voidz“.
And that’s…pretty much all we know right now. Casablancas’ site does invite you to “sign down for up dates”, which is cute, and advised in your interested in Voidz. Everyone excited about the prospect of another Strokes album may just have to wait though, as Casablancas seems perfectly happy on his own right now.
Confirming that is a recently released round of high-profile solo performances. Casablancas has what has to be the most ridiculously enviable dance card we’ve ever seen. Not only is the man making an appearance at the star-stacked Festival Estereo Picnic in Bogota, Colombia, but he’s also visiting the rest of South America, hitting up Lollapaloozas in Chile, Argentina, and Brazil.
