WATCH: The Cure Perform “Burn” Live For The First Time at Voodoo Festival

Last weekend, at the Voodoo Music & Art Experience in New Orleans, The Cure performed the fan favorite, “Burn,” live for the first time.

The band announced during their set that they were about to play a song they’ve never played before, which would usually mean previewing new material. However, fans were in for a surprise when they launched into the popular song “Burn.” The song was originally released as part of the soundtrack to 1994’s revenge film, The Crow. A cult film, not only did it receive critical and commercial success, but the soundtrack to the film hit #1 on Billboard’s Top 200 after it’s release.
