Rough Trade NYC Announces First Shows in Williamsburg Location

Rough Trade NYC is on the verge of opening and the label has decided to whet our collective appetite with the show list as it now stands.

The merchandising and distribution arm of the famed record label is opening a new store in the Williamsburg neighborhood of Brooklyn complete with a performance space. Known for fostering the post-punk/indie scene, Rough Trade Records has signed and promoted such artists as The Smiths, Butthole Surfers, The Libertines, Arcade Fire and The Strokes. Rough Trade NYC, the latest branch (which will sell the traditional record fare expected of Rough Trade), will open doors November 25th, shows will begin in December.
