Deathfix are continuing their recent touring with additional dates along the West Coast this January.

Deathfix started as a collaboration between Rich Morel and Brendan Canty in 2009, expressing their shared enthusiasm for 70’s pop/rock. Mark Cisneros, on bass, and Devin Ocampo, on drums, were added to the group in time to finish writing and recording their 2013 debut, Deathfix. Morel is a prominent DC-based singer-songwriter, DJ and producer known for remixes, his monthly dance event, Blowoff, and collaborations with Bob Mould. It was while touring as a part of Mould’s backing band that Morel met Fugazi drummer Brendan Canty, who is also notable for his scoring work for various documentaries. Bassist Mark Cisneros has previously worked with bands such as Medications, Chain and the Gang, and Shortstack. After the release of the album, Ocampo left the group and was replaced by Jerry Busher (member of French Toast and one-time roadie for Fugazi).
