Sound Tribe Sector 9 (STS9) Announces Winter 2014 Tour Dates

Talk about the perfect end-of-year run of shows: Sound Tribe Sector 9 are set to embark on the ultimate tour.

STS9 will be wrapping up 2013 with a four-night stint in Mexico, alongside groups such as Umphrey’s McGee and the Disco Biscuits, and will then spend four nights leading up to New Year’s Eve at The Tabernacle, in Atlanta. Once completing the NYE shows, they’ll have performed at The Tabernacle 30 times, the most any band’s ever played at that venue.

After they get their bearings straight, the electronica bunch kick off their U.S. tour at San Diego’s House of Blues, and then play a steady string of shows throughout the country, finishing in Knoxville, TN at the end of February.

UPDATE (1/16): Following this week’s announcement bassist David Murphy is leaving the band, STS9 is postponing the rest of the dates on their current tour. See below for what stops are affected.
